Welcome to the PayPal Community! I am sorry if you are still waiting on your money to come through. I can understand wanting to get this taken care of. Depending on the status of the transaction, there are different reasons why you are still waiting for the money.
You can learn more about the different statuses of transactions to have a better understanding of why the money has not come through. I would also recommend reaching out to your son and see what they show on their end.
