Where does refund go to PayPal balance or Mastercard(local bank)

I bought a good and payed with PayPal, later the order was cancelled and they refunded, will it be refunded to PayPal balance or Mastercard (local bank)?

Depends what country you are in, and you haven't added it to your paypal community i.d. or said.
