What's happened to the specific amount feature on paypal.me?

I created a paypal.me account last week, specifically because of the feature to add a figure onto the end of the url so people can send a pre-determined sum of money.

However, the paypal.me interface has been redesigned and the specific amount function no longer seems to work.

If you enter the url with, for example, /10 on the end, it now takes you to a page asking if you want to 'send' or 'request' the money, and then asks the sender to enter their own sum rather than specifying that they should add £10.

Is this a temporary glitch, or is this just part of the new design and the ability to send a specified amount is no longer available?

Seems like they updated the feature entirely and got rid of the amount at the end of the link as it’s not working for me either. Maybe they’ll add it back later.
