Clients can log into their PayPal account and send/pay you money by entering your email address. When you receive payment, it will appear in your PayPal account balance and you will be notified that you have money. You can also invoice your clients through your PayPal account and enter their email address on the invoice and other relevant details.

PayPal is a real financial tool like a bank so you can't use fake or inaccurate info to open an account. Any liabilities you will be responsible for unless eligible for Seller Protection. And PayPal accounts are country specific. Be sure to verify your account by linking a card.
