Vendor not received payment

I made a payment and I can see it’s gone through from my credit card but the recipient says they haven’t received it. How can I ensure they got it? The email I used to send is correct.

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.

In that case its successfully completed to a paypal account that is linked to the email address that you sent it to.
