Using messenger to send money

I want to send money through messenger. How do I set this up?

Open a Messenger chat with your recipient and there should be a payment or $ icon, click it to add card or PayPal email.

Thanks for your reply. How safe is it to use messenger as a payment option? I did read a post that mentioned being scammed through Facebook mobile.

Great question! As long as you ensure you pay as Goods & Services, you'll have Seller Protection for sales made through Messenger.
