I just made a very large payment to my Wells Fargo auto loan. In an effort to maximize my credit card points, I used my PayPal routing and account numbers to make the payment. My PayPal is linked only to my credit card. I'm wondering if PayPal allows this? My payment is still pending online, so I'm not certain if it will go through. Thank you in advance!
Keep in mind, the account and routing number associated with PayPal Direct Deposit are for incoming payments only and cannot be used for outgoing purchases or payments.
I reckon it would fail. But if it goes through, you got lucky and to refrain from paying that way again.
