Greetings,
Thank you in advance for any replies.
I wish to make a purchase online. Assume the cost of the item that I wish to purchase $100. Further assume I wish to pay with a pre-paid gift card (which I've already linked to PayPal) that has, for example, $25 on it, AND I wish to use my entire PayPal balance, which has, for example, $30, AND the remaining $45 from my linked checking account. How can I do this? If I start off with the gift card, won't the system reject it because it doesn't cover the $100.00? If I start off with the checking account, I know there's no way to tell the system just to use $45, and allow me to specify where the remaining difference comes from.
How can I, assuming it's possible, use all three?

Hi @Ed_Collins,
Welcome to our Community!
Unfortunately, this his is not possible. The amount on the PayPal balance will be used first and the difference can only be from one funding source. Therefore the gift card would need to cover the difference but in this scenario, it would not work.
Thanks
Martin
