Hello, mizging! Seeing unfamiliar charges in your PayPal account Activity is a definite concern! Based on what you mentioned about making other purchases via the iTunes store (or Apple store), it should be easy to address your concern. Here's some information I hope will be helpful.
Please take a look at the Details Page for the transactions you don't recognize. Log on to your PayPal account, locate the transactions in your Activity and click on them. That causes the Details Page to be displayed. If the transactions are part of a Billing Agreement, you'll see that on the Details Page.
The best thing to do in a situation where you're being charged apparently incorrectly is to contact the merchant (iTunes or Apple), let them know there's been a mistake, and ask for a refund. If that doesn't work, you may be able to submit a dispute to PayPal and ask for help getting a refund that way. Please check out https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-report-a-billing-issue-faq3421/1 for more information on how to report a Billing Error.
If you want to cancel a Billing Agreement, you can also do that through your PayPal account. Please check out https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-cancel-a-billing-agreement-faq2254 for information on how to cancel a Billing Agreement.
I hope this information is helpful. If you need further assistance, please call Customer Service or send a Private Message via Facebook (https://ww.facebook.com/paypalusa) or send a Direct Message via Twitter (https://www.twitter.com/askpaypal). Thanks for being a part of the PayPal Community!
Sincerely,
Michael
