I received a PayPal SMS message today when I had used my Barclays Debit card to pay for my lunch. The card I used is not registered with PayPal and as far as I can see PayPal should not have been involved in the transaction at all. So far it has NOT appeared on my PayPal transaction list, but it has appeared on my bank account transactions. I don't understand the PayPal message and am a little concerned it may be paid twice.
Does anyone on here know what this is? I have not had it happen before.
Thanks
David

The restaurant could be using PayPal as their payment processor. You can ask them. And maybe the SMS is from your bank telling you a payment processed through PayPal for your lunch.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
