Unauthorized use

Someone hacked my PayPal acct, changed my addrrss on record, and stole $450+ from me, using a fraudulent ebay transaction. I opened a dispute with PayPal, my bank, and ebay. I can see the email address where the money was sent to - can i contact this person directly? Can I go to the police with this, since i know where the money went? Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear of the unauthorized use of your account! I can see how this would be concerning. Here is how you would report unauthorized activity on your PayPal account: https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-report-unauthorized-paypal-account-activity-faq1.... I would recommend disputing the transaction through us first as the sellers are usually innocent in this circumstance.
