Unable to send $2000 from my account to friend

Hi, my account is a fully verified personal account. But when I try to send money from a credit card to my friend, it goes okay with $1000 but when I put down $2000 it shows "Sorry, we weren't able to complete your payment at this time. Please try again later."

Any hint whats going on.

So you already sent your friend $1000?

Then PayPal’s AI internal security system had sticker shock at you wanting to send $2,000. Try again in a day or two but type in $2000 from the get-go. If that doesn’t work then break it down to two transactions. Customer service can not override the security algorithm.
