Unable to receive money

One of my friends is trying to send me some money from the UK, however it wouldn't allow her to send it. She gets an error "the recipient only receives payments from the website". I have checked and can confirm my ID&V is updated. Is it because its cross-country?

Hi visualdreamer, 

 

I am sorry to hear that your friend is having trouble sending your money. Ask them to try sending it in your currency as it may be the currency they are sending it in is different. If they are still having trouble try sending them an invoice for payment as this can sometimes help.
