Unable to accept Payments in India from US.

I have a personal account linked to my debit card and bank account in India. This is first time I am trying to accept payments through Paypay.

The error says "Unable to accept Payments in India from US the error message says "the recipient accepts paypal payments only through their website". to complete this payment please go through their website and follow their instructions"

The sender is from US. Can somebody please help me with steps needed to resolve this issue. Thank you.

How are they trying to pay? Are they just using the "Send Money" feature, or did you send them a payment request, an invoice, or what exactly?
