Trying to send money but keeps telling e to add pmt method when I already have

Trying to send money to my granddaughter and it won't show up my bank account it tells me I need to add a payment method but I already have my payment methods LinkedIn confirmed so what do I do

When you try to pay with bank account or PayPal balance, the system may ask for a back up credit card. Does it let you click "Change" to go and select a back up payment method instead of adding a payment method?

Welcome to the community forum.

 

It sounds like our security system is preventing you from using certain payment methods on your account. As sharpiemarker was saying, if your payment method is denied we look for a back-up to go to. If there is no back-up we will ask you to add another funding option. 

As this is a security issue there are some other things you can do. Make sure you are logging in from a secure location, if you only log in on mobile internet trying using a home Wifi connection.
