Hi I have just made a purchase online using paypal(well I think I did) I have a email receipt but there is nothing showing on my paypal account and it has already come off of my card. Is this right? I have a bad feeling about it many thanks

Note that the transaction usually starts off as a temporary authorization with the funds held (at your funding source) to make sure its available when and if the seller captures payment.

Contact merchant and ask if they have received an order from you. If merchant can't capture the payment because they do not see your order then the temporary authorization expires and drops off with funds released in no longer than 30 days.

Temporary authorizations cannot be canceled by PayPal as it expires if not converted to a completed payment by merchant.
