Someone transferred me more the amount of the item due to shipping costs but wants me to pay the €290 euro out of pocket before the full amount can be transferred to my account as she claims she has already transferred this? Does this seem legit? They are swing they are taking legal action now because I have not sent the €290 to her delivery service address?

Hi @Amy215,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!
In general, if you sold an item and you received the payment for what you sold on your PayPal, you only need to ship the item. You will not need to forward the amount to any third parties or involve any other parties.
I hope this helps.
Martina
