I went to buy an item off eBay today, PayPal said “payment could not go through” so I tried again, then I got asked for verification code via sms, I thought yes it’s gone through, but there was no item purchased on my eBay account, I went into my bank and could see that the same amount for the item was pending to come out twice! I chatted with eBay, and they could not see a purchase history and the seller had not got any money, and they reassured me that the money would not come out. I have tried all day to get hold of PayPal, but to no avail, has anyone experienced this, also why would my payments not go through? I had funds, my card, bank are verified with PayPal been through all the processes, very annoying as the amount was not small, and to be doubled! Cheers
