So I ordered a textbook online and as I was checking out I used paypal to buy it since I didn't want my card to be charged and to be safe. As I checked out a message popped up onto the screen from the website I ordered on saying that an error occurred while trying to pay with PayPal. But I noticed that I received an email from PayPal saying that I made an order from Textbooks.com. Although money hasn't left my account and on my paypal activity there is no transcation from textsbook.com. I know that money will leave my account once it is shipped but should I call paypal to get help quicker or ? Did my order go through or ?

In general, when you make an order using PayPal, the amount is only charged once the merchant processes the order. This could be the reason why you are unable to see the transaction. I would recommend reaching out to the merchant directly to speed up the process.
