The individual accepts PayPal payments only through their website

I'm in Srilanka.. My friend is in US Indiana. I wanted to receive some money to my paypal account by my email address. but when he tries to send he complains that he receives this message. "The individual accepts PayPal payments only through their website. To Complete this payment please go to their website and follow their instructions, or email the recipient for instructions". can anyone pls help me as I want that money soon.

Sorry, Sri Lanka PayPal accounts cannot receive money. Could only shop online or send money for goods and services.

There's no mention of receiving payments. Only buying online and sending money for g&s.
