Hi I am selling my car and someone is trying to buy it through paypal and supposedly paypal is telling me money is waiting to go into my acc ount after I deposit $1250.00 into a transport company account. Does this sound legit to anyone?
Not legit. PayPal will never ask you to send money in any for before you can get your payment. PayPal does not work with the shipping or freight of the items being sold and therefore will not be involved in that, therefore will not be asking you to arrange shipping.
You can send those emails to spoof@paypal.com for PayPal to investigate. I wouldn't recommend continuing to engage with this buyer.
