Suddenly unable to select checking account for sending money

My checking account is "Confirmed" on my PayPal account, and has been for several days, but just yesterday I noticed I was unable to select it to send money to others, even to those I was able to successfully use my checking account for before. On August 6 and 7, I was able to send money a total of 9 times successfully without a fee this way, but now the fee is unavoidable, as PayPal will only allow me to select my debit card. I checked my bank's website and found nothing unusual there.

Below is a screenshot of what shows up when I click "Change Payment Method" on a transaction:

The problem appears to have been resolved without any notice or notification. I can now use my checking account to send money as normal.
