Solved: Not able to pay using paypal balance anymore

So, I've been using paypal to pay for different things online and I've always done it by adding funds to my paypal account balance and then using that to pay for things. However, now it seems I can not do that anymore since every time I try to check out via paypal the popup says to add a credit card.

I don't want to add a credit card, and I have not needed to do so in the past.

I could always select "pay using balance" before, however now that option won't appear. Is there a solution to this issue?

Nevermind. It's just me being a moron. I thought I had enough to cover the price of the item but I didn't.
