Shopify Missing Payment

Hello, 

 

I started a shopify store, and activated the Paypal payments linking it to my account.   I then received two emails saying the same thing but with different customer names. 

 

It said, You have received a payment of 100.00 USD from customer 1, on September 2018. 

Then two weeks later i received another 100.00 USD payment from customer 2, on October 2018.

 

However when i went to check my paypal account balance i only had the first payment from September, but the one in October never came in. 

 

I contacted shopify and they said from their side the payment came in straight to paypal on both occasions and my issue is with paypal not with them.  

I contacted paypal and told them i should have two payments, i have email confirmations, and they said i needed to wait an extra day, however its been already a week and no second payment has come through. 

 

Any idea why?
