Hi

I am living in Sweden and are going to purchase an item in California.

I want the seller to ship the item to my swedish friends address in Florida.

Will that work when I do my PayPal payment?

You can't add an international address to a  country specific paypal account.

And your seller would not send to anything other than your paypal registered address for their 'seller protection'.

Since your PayPal account is in Sweden, you probably won't be able to add a US Shipping address to your PayPal account but perhaps on the merchant website, it will allow you to add a Billing address and a shipping address before you are taken to PayPal Checkout to pay and the US shipping address will be used on the PayPal payment/receipt.  For something like this, I'd never use PayPal but use a credit card on the merchant site so I can add the shipping address I want. Not knowing how the merchant has PayPal checkout integrated it is different to predict what will happen.
