Hello Community
I'm a service provider in the US. I receive payments from abroad, mostly from South America. I have some clients that are complaining about the PayPal fees and exchange rate (on Chilean and Colombian currencies). How I can see how much they are paying for PayPal fees? The exchange rate is something that PayPal manage or it depends on their own banks and credit cards agreements? I send an invoice and they pay with their business credit cards.
Besides, I thought that I pay 2.9% plus 30 cents on my side for PayPal fees but yesterday I saw that is 4.4%?
Does anyone have experience with international payments? How to reduce the fees on both sides?
Thank you!
