Sent payement to wrong place

I was paying for something and done a slight mistake to the correct adress does payment still get taken out or only if it's a correct active account and if it does is there any way for a refund?

If the payment is marked unclaimed past 30 days the funds will be returned to you. If payment is marked pending or complete, contact the recipient to get a refund. If no response or they refuse, click on the transaction and click "report a problem" to open a dispute.

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.

Secondly how did you send the payment ie which paypal option?

Lastly how did you fund the payment ie which funding source?
