I'm an idiot and sent money to someone through PayPal as a friend transfer and they have turned out to be a scammer and not sent me the tickets they promised they would. The money hasn't come out of my account but I'm hoping I'm not SOL on this and I have a leg to stand on to get my money back. Any help is appreciated!
You are SOL because there is no refunds or purchase protection on friends and family payments. It is essentially a gift payment. Never send f&f payments in exchange for Goods and services to maintain purchase protection. if paid with credit card, you may file a chargeback but they may deny your claim since its a f&f payment.
