Sending money via goods and services

This person on Grailed has a hoodie I’ve wanted for ages now. He said that I’m still covered by sending over goods and services but he seems very eager for me to send the money which is making me suspicious, I just want to know if there’s chance I’ll lose all my money because I don’t want to take that risk.
