Can I set up something automatic that will send someone a payment each month for the same amount on the same date each month for the next year or so?

Welcome to the Community and thank you for your post!

With PayPal, it is possible to set up recurring payments. If you click on your 'Help Centre' and digit 'How do I set up a recurring payment?', you should find all the information.
