I bought an item on e bay on Aug 2 but the seller didn't accept the payment yet and I can't rec iv e the item
Can you say what it says next to the transaction in your Paypal account.
1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.
Yes but thats on your Ebay account not your Paypal account isn't it?
I have 4 "boxes" in my home page.
Up Left=PP balance (decription/options) Up Right=Pending (description of pending payments)
Low left= Bank accounts and cards (linked cards) Low Right= Completed (previous completed payments)
Now you have answered my original question then yes.
Pending / unclaimed means the seller has an old or wrongly spelt email address on their auction, if there is no cancel option then it will 'time out' at 30 days post payment. Keep an eye on it though as that wrong email address may actually be correct to another person and if claimed by them then you may have to open a dispute.
TELL YOUR SELLER TO DO THIS.
Go to ebay and click on 'sell' put in anything (as you aren't going to actually list anything) until you get to the main page > scroll down under ''postage'' and where it says payment methods check the email address that is on that page, is there a spelling mistake or old one?
