Seller Says paypal asked for a picture of his SSA card before he can issue the refund.

How true is this. Got something from the seller, he sent me picutres showing he had the right balance but was getting an not enough funds error in attempting to refund. Today he said he called paypal and they said he needs to provide SSA proof like a photo of his card before he will be able to refund me.

Hi @alankpb,
I'm sorry to hear that the seller is not able to refund you. If the seller is experiencing a limitation of their account, they would be unable to provide a refund through the PayPal system. I regret that we would not be able to confirm any actions or statuses of any other people's accounts, however.
