Scam email

Hi I believe I have almost been scammed by an individual who claimed that they desired to purchase a item from me, paid money I advance but no money showed in my account. Asked me to pay for amazon gift cards, and the send the detail of the gift cards to an email that was set on the link. Definitely a scam. But by the I had give him the email to pay me into PayPal and the mobile number to contact me on, which is also the mobile number I use for security purposes with PayPal. Will he be able to use these two details to access my account or anything? Or do I have nothing to be worried about?? I have reported his emails to PayPal by the way. If anyone can give me some advice or reassurance would be appreciated.

Very common scam, been happening for ages.

All they want from you is MONEY.

If they know you are not going to pay they swiftly move on to the next potential victim.

As long as you didn't give them your paypal PASSWORD then alls good.
