SCAM need helping cancelling payment

So I bought something online, was prompted to enter card details by paypal screen, but I didn't log in as I didn't have an account. Got a receipt from paypal saying who I paid, but have found out it's a scam website! How do i cancel the payment? Already spoke to mastercard, but they said wait until it shows on my statement, sent paypal an email, can't get through to their call lines to speak to someone. Please help!!!

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and did NOT log into your paypal account then of course it won't show on your paypal account as you bought as a 'guest buyer'.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.


If you need to open a dispute for a 'guest buyer' transaction then you can.......

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will open one for you OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.

Hey thanks for the info. I rang customer services and they sorted it in 5 mins! They found the transaction with my card number and because the seller hadn't claimed it they were able to cancel and refund me. The girl I spoke to, Karen in the Philippines, was amazing! So if paypal are reading this say thanks again and let her off an hour early! Thanks!
