Is there any way round having to transfer from a £ Account on my Revolut card ( preferred payment card) to a third party PayPal account? Obviously the exchange rate is better on the Revolut but I guess that’s blocked by a rule about having to originate in the currency of your location?

Try having the recipient send you a PayPal invoice in GBP and then just using the Revolut card to pay the invoice without logging on to a PayPal account, then elect to have the card make the conversion during checkout.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thanks. I discovered that without an invoice you can opt to allow your preferred card to make the currency exchange (or payment from a different currency account in the case of Revolut) PayPal still make a charge but it’s not a double charge via lower exchange rate and fee.
