Returned payment

Received an email stating that the payment was returned NSF. My bank does not show a returned item. A CSR with PayPal confirmed. She could not make a payment for me until tomorrow. ? She said if she did it would go on last months statement. I tried to make one but kept saying there was an error. My payment is set on autopay. Chat option keeps saying there is a problem and to try again. I’m not paying a late fee because my bank can confirm funds were available. Yes just can’t get any answers or help from PayPal to resolve this.
