Purchased item off ebay 22nd feb, seller cancelled 23rd feb, they issued a refund straight away, however the funds came out of my bank on the 24th feb, so im 470 pounds out of pocket and it says my refund is complete. The person had a problem with paypal or ebay and they were holding funds pending 21days. They have since closed their account. Any ideas guys would be appreciated.
If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
