Good morning. I sent the sum of 179$ to the wrong email address I have sent an email to the recipient. I have not been refunded. Please advise how to move next. The money is not mine. I am a personal shopper. Please help me

It would help if you said HOW you sent the payment ie which paypal option and HOW you funded the payment ie which funding source.

How did you send the payment?

1. Invoice.

2. Money request.

3. Send money > goods/services.

4. Send money > friends/family.

5. Website checkout

I'm sorry I responded. It must not have delivered. I sent the money using a bank credit card. My account is not linked to a card or bank yet. I inputed the pin at the back of my card and used the email address of which I.should not have added an "h" thereby sending it to the wrong address. I'm still yet to get a response. I only started using the app some days back. I am at a loss what to dooo.

Think I will have to give up on this one.

To try and help you with this, can you let us know if the payment shows as completed? If your payment was sent as Goods and Services, I recommend using the steps listed here https://bit.ly/2orpIjS to dispute the transaction. Please note that if the payment was sent as Friends & Family, the refund will be up to the discretion of the person who received the payment.
