I got a refund from ebay for a item that never came. The problem is that the refund went to a debit card/bank account that does not exist anymore because I switched the bank and closed the bank account. How can I transfer the refund to my new registered card?
PayPal will try to return the money to old card however the bank will reject the transaction and return the funds back to PayPal - once that happens PayPal will credit the money to your Account Balance - this may take up to 30 days.
Speak to your bank, they can if they know recover the funds for you even if the account was closed as long as they are aware, if they are not then it will be declined.
