Refund to sources ebay Gift Card

Hello,

I bought something on ebay. I paid part with a ebay gift card and the rest with my credit card. After paying the gift card balance was $0.00 so, the plastic went to the trash can. I don't have the gift card number. What will happen when the pending refund completes on PayPal, it will goes back to the tossed gift card or Paypal Balance? Hope to be Paypal balance because I will loss that money. Thanks for your help in advance.

What if I return something I bought with an eBay Gift Card?

If you return an item you bought with an eBay Gift Card, the refund is credited back to your Gift Card.

That's the thing, the seller never shipped the item. In the faqs talks bout returns but not cancel orders. The refund for no shipping applies as returns? BTW thanks for the fast response

You were still refunded for the no shipping item so sadly its a refund as per above.
