Refund made to my canceled Credit Card

Hello, I receive today a partial refund from an ebay seller. now paypal told me that the refund was send to the credit card wich I made the first payment. But the problem is that this credit card was a virtual card that I issued from my bank savings account and now this card is cancelled. I don't have linked my bank account in my paypal account, so what is going to happen with the money?? It will be refunded to my bank account? or it will be returned to the seller? or it will be deposit to my paypal balance after all? or I lost this money definitely?

It will go back on the card. Contact your bank/card issuer and ask what their policy is for such situations.
