Refund headache

Hi All.

I purchased an item from the us and paid with the new dirct payment from ebay. long story short it didnt turn up and i was issued a refund.

ebay said this would go straight back to my bank within 48 hours.

a week and a bit later still no sign.

after many chats ebay finally said to give paypal a ticket id number and a account id and they will refund me instead???

has anyone else had this? and is it correct and if so how do i give these details?
