Refund hasn't arrived to my debit card.

Hello there everyone. I hope you all are doing great. I have been using PayPal for a while now and have never had issues but recently, I have had an issue with the refund not arriving to my debit card. I sent 50$ to my friend which they accidentally refunded. I thought the refund might have arrived to my balance and I ended up sending 50$ to them right again. Turns out my card got double charged which is fine because I thought I would get the money they refunded to my debit card after I saw it on the Help forums. It's been approximately two weeks, the refund hasn't arrived and the PayPal message center is kinda very unresponsive. Thanks for your help.

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
(Can vary according to country though).
