Refund from Ebay removing an item and cancelling a transaction

I bought something from ebay on 3/21/19 but the next morning, ebay mailed me saying they removed the item and canceled the transaction. It is now 3/24/19. I check my paypal balance and my bank statement, but neither contains the money I was supposed to be given back for the removed item. What should I do?

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller with a card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your card. Paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine, however that varies country to country.

IF its not back by then open a paypal dispute for non receipt of item via clicking on the transaction and using the resolve a problem link at the bottom of that details page.
