Refund Problems

So first of all I bought an item from someone's shop and they sent me the wrong item and then they sent me money via paypal as a refund
but I can't claim it cause it acts like im the seller that gets the money instead of it being a refund
Help pls

Hi @Micofone,

 

I'm sorry to hear that the seller sent the refund as a payment rather than using the refund link in the transaction. If the transaction was less than 180 days ago, the seller should have access to issue a refund through the transaction. If the seller has the option to cancel the payment that they sent to you that you can't claim, you can ask them to do that and then issue the refund the correct way through the transaction details.
