Recipient Collection

After me sending $$, money is removed from my bank, recipient does not collect $$ from PayPal immediately. Where are those $$ stored after leaving my bank before recipient collects? How long will my sent $$ be held for recipient? Is there a way to discern if/when $$ are collected by recipient?

If the transaction is marked as completed in your paypal account then you have paid.

Paypal credit the seller upfront for you and then paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer from your funding source.

If its completed and there is any delay then its on the sellers paypal account and between them and paypal.
