Receiving payments

When someone tries to send me a payment it says “ We’re sorry the recipient can’t accept personal payments ” for them whys this? I have my email and bank account both verified

They are trying to send a personal payment ie friends/family payment which you can't accept in your country.

They would need to use the goods/services option if you are selling items or services.
