What do I have to do to receive a payment from a buyer? What doe's the buyer need to know?

Give your PayPal email address only (or mobile number if you want to receive payment that way). Don't give out name associated with PayPal account, as buyer will see it when they have paid, in their transaction details. Some scammers ask for your name too so they can send a fake PayPal email addressing you by name to try to make it sound official when it isn't and they haven't paid.
