Receiving money

I sold an item for £5 to which the person paid me via PayPal but I only received £4.63 can someone please advise. Cos I don’t know if that’s the amount they’ve paid or whether PayPal advtaken a cut. Thank you

Your paypal fee is deducted directly from the buyers payment before the rest is credited to your paypal balance.

Unlike Ebay that invoice you on a monthly basis.

Paypal fee UK > UK transactions are 3.4% + 20p per transaction.
