Paypal keeps asking for me to add a creditcard

I have my bank account linked to PayPal, but when I’m about to make a purchase via PayPal, it keeps asking me for a credit/debit card. (e.g. In the SNKRS app) Is it possible that it’s because I dont have any PayPal balance, or is it just the same problem? I just want to use PayPal because I have Maestro card, which I can’t use on most sites.

PayPal has stopped accepting my valid debit card details to complete a purchase - any reason / solution?

Hi @KC181 and vojtinek, 

I am sorry to hear that you both are having issues with your registered card. Have you checked to ensure it is up to date and that the expiry is correct on it? Sometimes people receive new cards with the same number however the expiry date is different and if it is not updated we will get a return notification when trying to process a payment.
